Lovely headbadge for forthcoming bike brand New Albion Cycles, a sister ship to Soma Fabrications in California.
There’s a superb description of the design process for the new headbadge here. Hadn’t realised that Sir Frances Drake landed in Marin County. Perhaps Mr Gary Fisher’s pleasure in fine tweeds is the result of some genetic connection?

This is intriguing. On their site, it looks like there is some way to mount straps which is excellent. I couldn’t actually tell because it was all in German and I was too lazy to translate. Unfortunately the price was not so excellent, 155 Euros. Yikes!

I’m glad that Phil Liggett and I agree that some of the fans at professional bike races are
“nutters” (fuckheads IMO), and that this trend should stop.Seeing someone dressed like a douche running along with the riders does nothing for me. Except when a rider punches one in the face. I enjoy that. A LOT.
